About CHA

The Cannabis Horticultural Association is a peer network of earth scientists — botany, plant physiology, genetics, soil science, chemistry, biochemistry, entomology, and plant pathology. Founded in 2016 in Humboldt County.

Their mission: study the horticultural science of cannabis and promote ecologically sound management practices. They publish peer-reviewed articles on light deprivation, cover crops, terpene biosynthesis, and pest management.

Genetics

CHA develops custom crosses from established breeders with genetics from Humboldt County and Southern Oregon. Seed lines are selected for diverse terpenoid profiles and concentrate production.
